At All Souls we believe that each baptized person is called to minister in the Church and to the world. Laity and clergy together share the responsibility of ministry, and giving of one's time and talent in this way is encouraged of all members.

Local Ministry and Missions include:

• The Interfaith Soup Kitchen at St. Peter's Church
• The Soup Kitchen at Carver Center
• Helping to stock the Food Pantry at the Salvation Army
• Providing layettes (some hand-knitted) to needy families of newborns
• There are opportunities for those with a talent and gift for media to participate in a cable ministry.
• Support of the Edison Closet at Edison School
• Support of Port Chester Residents for Affordable Housing

In addition, our Parish Nurse makes home, hospital and nursing home visits to members and friends of the congregation, providing a liaison with their doctor, offering advice, helping with insurance forms, etc.

World Wide Missions include:

• Donations to work in Honduras, Croatia, Kosovo and North Carolina
• Working at missions in Mexico, Haiti, and Nicaragua
• Donations to remove landmines in Afghanistan
• Donations to the Heifer Project. Last year we were able to donate a whole cow, and are hoping this spring to do the same.
