The Rev. J. Bruce Baker, Pastor

One of the benefits of attending All Souls Parish is the wonderful music program. Our choirs and instrumentalists provide exceptional music not only during our regular services, but also at special services throughout the year.

The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesday evening from September to June, and sings at the Sunday morning services, as well as additional services during the year. Singers from high school through adults are warmly welcomed. Members appreciate the Wednesday evening camaraderie as well as the significant role they play in leading our Sunday morning worship. The choir sings a wide variety of music, from 14th century motets to 21st century tunes.

The Children’s Choir rehearses during Coffee Hour (about 10 minutes after worship is over) every Sunday for about 20 minutes. We like to sing in church once every month or so, and we are proud to be an important part of our church’s worship.

Instrumentalists occasionally provide music at our Sunday morning services. If interested, please speak with our Minister of Music, Joanna Nilsen.

Recorder Ensemble
Our congregation's Recorder Ensemble has group lessons/rehearsals after Coffee Hour most Sundays, with whomever can attend. Would you like to join us? Loaner instruments are available. Speak with Joanna Nilsen, Ellie MacDowell, or Steve Coplar if you have any questions or want to hear how much fun it is.

For more information about our choir and instrumentalist opportunities, please contact our Minister of Music, Joanna Nilsen, at (914)939-4300.
